If you DIY spray undercoat, make sure to wear pants and a long sleeve shirt that you don't care to throw away, along with eye protection - like chemistry goggles type eye protection. When I did mine I was covered in rubbery black specks that took at least a few days to wash off

Yep good info ArmyofOne I thought I was the only one who blew more money at the car wash than Tim Hortons, I cant stress enough about the rinse off regularly, especially where I live, not only do they use a corrosive material to combat ice but they also use an agent which helps penetrate your paint, salt and sand mix seem more like salt and stone mix most times.

Old thread unfortunately, or I'd try to meet up and get you to help me do mine, near Ft Worth.
I'd be happy to pay for any supplies that go on my truck. (Don't care for the idea of using the taxpayer's stuff on my private vehicle. No offense.)
