Default Off Road Package.... HELP!

I have a 2001 1500 Sport with the factory off road pakage, I'm searching for an aftermarket kit or any do-it-yourself options to get some lift out of it. Preferably greater than just a 3" leveing kit. Also if I go with a leveling kit do I have to move the track bar or anything else too?

You can choose any kit. They will all work for your truck. The only exception is that you will not gain the full 5 inches of lift because you already have 2 inches from the factory. 2" longer springs in the front and a 2" block in the rear. The leveling kits are nice and are done in a few hours and pretty cheap. If you want a cheap way go with the leveling kit 2". Then put in a 3" body lift. You'll have 5" for like under 300 bucks. Easily clear 35's. My stock factory off road package clears 33's with no issue. Some lift kits (most of them actually) Come with a track bar relocation bracket. If you do a leveling kit you do not have to move the track bar. If you start changing the geometry of the front axle then its required. I hope this helps a little. this was explained to me so I'm just passing it along. Good luck.

Wondering if you did the leveling and how you like it?
