We just finished up the install of an MMR 900+ 3 valve, ford racing whipple charger, custom aeromotive fuel system, BMR tubular k-member, and McLeod clutch in a 2008 Mustang GT. Here are a couple pics for any of you mustang fans. Should get a good break in tune this week on it and let him drive it back and forth to Dallas for a few months before we really crank up the boost and push that blower to the max.
Almost exactly how the engine bay looked when we got it
The car now has an Aeromotive Eliminator pump capable of 1400hp, but it would run on max the entire time if he didn't opt for the controller, and since it's a street driven car, he obviously did. Most people would wire it inside the engine bay for ease of install, but since we were trying to make it as clean as possible, I installed it behind the rear seat delete, hid all the wires from the engine bay inside the factory harness (that was a lot of wiring!) and tucked everything nicely inside the cabin. Came out great!
We are hoping for 700+ to the tire once it's all cranked up, if that blower will support that much. The bottom end is good to over 1200hp, but the heads and blower will hold us back a bit.
