Default Best offroad lights?

Putting some lights under my grill. What are the best ones for the price. Wanting to put 4 on. I've been looking at the KC Daylighters and the hella 500's but they are about as spendy as they come. Any suggestions?

I had 2 of these on my grille guard (long range) and trust me... They are completely worth it if you do a lot of night driving, especially on back Ohio roads working 3rd shift like I do. They have saved my a$$ COUNTLESS times from hitting deer. Just imagine being on a long, flat, straight road and being able to see everything in front of you clearly for at least 300 yards. They are that good, and they were my first KCs, I will never buy cheap lights again.

Since you're getting 4, I would get 2 of the long range and 2 of the driving, aim the long range right in front, very slightly facing outward, and aim the driving lights off to the side just until their pattern touches the end of the long ranges' pattern. Even with the 2 long range, it was like driving in the afternoon sun.

I've also heard good things about Hella. Never owned any myself. They're around the same price.

If you're on a budget, look at the cheaper offroad lights on amazon and check out the reviews to find a decent pair.

Lightforce! Not cheap but you wont find a better light. I've sold many of these to military units over the years to upgrade what they had on their vehicles prior to deployment. Speaks volumes when a soldier calls from the middle of the desert in a forward base to order these lights to replace what Uncle Sam bought for them.

I used KC ralley 8 halogens" , 2 driving and 2 spots and each light 130 watts, then I put Ram Runner bumper so I changed the lights to 5 KC slimlites, 3 driving 100 watts & 2 spots 130 watts. I took out 2 driving KC slimlites and I fixed 2 Baja Designs fuego 4" which you see on the ram runner on youtube, I could say 2 driving Baja Designs Fuego will perform better than 5 KC lights, it's a piece of art really.

Yup.. I have been one calling for these lights while over in the desert. now I run them on my truck here back in the states. Great lights, hold up to severe conditions better than anything else, I have tried PIA, KC, ARB, Warn, and none are as good as the Lightforce.

i'm a rigid fan. i run 2 Dually spot lights on the front of my truck and they'll reach out quite a distance. not cheap, though. the 2 lights plus amber lenses for each cost me $200. but desert rat sells LED bars for pretty damn good prices if you decide to go that route.

I have used hell 500ff's on my previous 2 trucks. I really enjoy them. I took the other 2 pair off my old truck and plan on putting them on my 2013. waiting on the wire harnesses right now. just need to figure out where im going to put them. behind the grill....or get a lightbar...we shall see.
