Sweet buy!
When you exchanged it because it threw codes you dealt directly with BBK?

Wow, I love this mod and this is def the favorite out of all my other mods. It was easy to install as everyone else has pointed out but I'm a little slow with mechanical things so I took my time but it was still a easy bolt on. I slowly went down my street as there is still ice on it but once I hit 59 and slowed down to a slow roll, I hammered the gas and actually felt the front of the truck raise as it roared down the highway. I am very happy with this mod and would highly recommend it to anyone else who wants some more ponies and quicker acceleration added to their T-ruck.

Great feedback.
Exactly what I experienced with the 85. Sold it and recently installed the 87. Great performance too

Thanks! Yeah I was thoroughly impressed and kind of shocked with how well it performed and the difference I noticed. So you think you saw a noticeable difference with the 87 from the 85?

I'm not sure how much you'll notice going from the 85 to 87
I went from 85 that i drove maybe 20 miles in and then back to stock for 2-3 weeks and then into the 87 when I picked it up.
So I was able to notice it more so reverting back to stock and then making the jump back in with a larger one.
Mind to during that time I added the Diablo Tuner, but I still ran the tuner wit stock TB and still noticed the the 87 TB.

I'm just waiting for my vararam which arrives next week and then deciding on whether to do headers or a torque converter or both

I switched from a Fastman 82MM to Moes 87MM.
There is a noticeable difference, but probably not 350 dollars difference for most trucks.
Just remember.
The intake is plastic, the throttlebody screws into it,Do Not Tighten down very much or you will strip the threads.
There is a gasket between the throttlebody and the intake,so you just need to be snug, sorry dont have the tq specs but most tq wrenches will not go low enuff anyway.
