They'll both have their place. Some people just need the Trinity for the custom tuning ability.
I can assure you if you get a custom tune in it you'll put the BD on the shelf.

Thanks for the added info. After reading your info and Chris b's info. I ordered the Trinity. I do want option to turn off the traction control and I like the customer service at Diablo Sport. I may get some help from them to add a custom tune to include my K&N CAI and Aero Turbine 3030 exhaust. My truck is pretty quick without the tune. 93 octane tune should help enough satisfy my wants.

Default 2012 R/T trinity problem

First let me say the Trinity tune does really put more muscle in the truck. With the performance 93 Octane tune, my truck burns rubber from rolling start and even gives a chirp when shifting to 2nd gear.

Now the problem. When I tried to remove the MDS and Speed limiter, the only adujustable parameters that show are tire size and torque management. I turned of the torque management but the dash brake light and torque lights stayed on. I set the turck back to Original tune then reinstalled the 93 octane tune again and the lights went out.

Over all, I am very happy with the 93 octane tune. I only use non ethanol 93 octane fuel. Yesterday I took a ride from Gulfport to Waveland MS on US 90 (35 - 55 MPH) all the way. I used cruise control when I could and my average MPG was 24 going over. Comming back, I used I-10 and set the cruise on 70. I reset the MPG meter and on the return trip I got 18.5 MPG.

I have been able to get rid of the 4 cylinder exhaust drone by slaping my shifter to the left and run in 6th gear or what ever gear is right for the speed you are running.

If some one knows why I am only getting two options in adjustable paramenters on my tuner, please let me know. I have downloaded the latest download available on DS website.

Between the Trinity tune, K&N intake and Aero Turbine 3030 exhaust, I am very happy with the performance of this truck. Still thinking about adding headers but have not decided yet.

The only 2 parameters your seeing that's in the quick adjustments. (tire size and TC) to change the parameters of a tune you have to do this at the start of putting the tune in. Yes im looking in to the headers as my next mod,

Thanks Chris, I called Mike at D.S. this morning and he walked me thru getting my truck set up the way I wanted. They have great customer service.. The only problem I was having was operator error.

Do you know if headers will void our engine warrantys?
