I have been eyeballing the BD for awhile. Like you said I never intend to race at a track, just beat up on a mustang here and there. I'm wondering how the BD will respond once I do a 87mm Moes TB and headers. I'm assuming just fine.

I would imagine just fine. I plan on adding either a 85 or 87mm tb soon and maybe headers down the road.

I just got mine today and installed. Had to call tech support as it would not update and they did it for me over the net so other then the 15mins on the phone no other problems after that, yet.

I set mine to performance tune with everything stock except the speed limiter. I have a mopar cold air intake and the mopar catback exhaust so was looking for something to get back the little bit of low end take off that I lost and this tune seemed to help. I'm new to all this so have little experience with setting mine up or messing with settings.

I tried the 0-60mph test and did it in 7.2 secs, but spun the wheels a tad on take off. Is this time good?

Other then that I was also wondering do you have to unstal the tune every time and re-add it if you want to change to a different tune? I run nothing but premium gas but worried that maybe the wife would fill er up and put regular, would this hurt if it is on performance tune??

Sorry for all the questions, just new to this bullydog stuff and their website really gives no sorta help or feedback .

I have a generic question on both BD and Diablo tuners...Do you have to keep the device in your truck at all times, or can you simply upload the tune, and then put tuner back in your house? I do not want full-time device hanging from my windshield nor pillar. I have not had a tuner with any vehicle, but I know with some Fords, you would use SCT to install the tune, and then it was done. If you had to go to dealer, reflash back to stock.

I was told today on the phone with the bullydog tech you did not have to leave it hooked up and could put it away.

You don't need a tuner to spin the tires. Turn the tow/haul on, ESC off... Then put your foot on the brake gently. Hit the gas easy bringing the rpms up to about 1500 rpms and let off the brake and floor it. Scared me a tad first time I did it.

7.2 sounds pretty good to me. As far as changing the tune I'm not sure. I think you would have too uninstall and reinstall the tune you want. I try and not let my truck get down below a half a tank just for less of a shock when I have to fill it up. But if your wife tops your truck off with a lower octane I don't see it doing any harm.
