The diameter of the coupler will depend on the intake. But the diameter you need at the TB is 3.25". For my airaid tube it is just a straight 3.25" coupler.

Thanks guys. How water proof is the S&B CAI? I was running a open CAI right above the bottom of the bumper for a Chrysler 300c. Long story short I drove through high water for hurricane Isaac and was fine but a week later I slung a rod through the block.

Ok so wait, I have a 02 ram 4.7 and been wanting a S&B CAI but they told me they haven't started the production of the new ones. So your saying I can get one for the 5.7l and it'll work? Or wait for the 3rd gen 4.7 model?

You can buy the CAI for the 5.7 and it will work with the 4.7 with a coupler. Im not waiting for the new cai for the 4.7 its been saying they are making a new one for months since around August I think.
