my mechanic seems to believe it is the injector pump. It looks like we are going to try replacing that. He has always been good to me in the past. We will see how it works.

Well, lots of hours and parts have gone by but my truck still isn't home. He has cleaned out a screen at the fuel tank which he said was very dirty, almost impassible, a valve at the tank, the lift pump and the injector pump. It seemed to work fine. He left it outside overnite to see how it would do in when cold. The temperarture got down in the high 20's. It would not start. He has left it outside to do his testing. He has checked the flow of all the components and it seems that the flow on the new injector pump is on the low side of the tolerance. I hope that is what the problem is. Man, I need my truck. What hurts me so bad is that I just sold my 2011 dually 2 months ago. I have been looking at getting another truck now and I can't find one as nice as the one I got rid of. Wish I would have kept it now.

I assume your mechanic is looking at your rail pressure when he is trying to start it? Low rail pressure is a common no start issue, and can be caused by several things, including a bad injection pump, or bad injectors, a bad FCA etc.
