Bully dog can't custom as of yet. But with Diablo you can have a custom tune written that better fits your needs. It has the ability to log data that can be sent to hemifever or someone else to help make adjustments from your email.

The one I have is a Diablo Sport "Predator". It is tunable, but the program has to be written to your specs. I'll have to read the instructions to see how much can be done to it, but you have to take it to a local supplier.
I am not familiar with the Bully Dog, but the one I have made a tremendous difference in my performance, as long as you run the high octane gas. A lot more torque and about 3 mpg.

if you mean a CMR tuner...that is correct. 2 ways to custom tune with a Diablo, you can do it the old fashion way and go to a CMR tuner and get on a dyno where he can custom tune, this is the most accurate way. But, like most of us, we are either too far away from one or the cost is prohibitive. The 2nd alternative is to send your datalogs by email and a tuner will look at it and make a tune that he emails back to you, you upload to the Diablo and then plug it into truck and upload to pcm. This is cheaper then the first option but it may take two to three or more times to repeat the datalog process to get it all the way dialed in. This is the rout I took and i actually have used 3 different CMR tuners before I was confident and happy with the tune I have.

What tuner did you finally being happy with? I haven't started the process yet, but will gladly accept any advise on narrowing down the possibilities.
Any suggestions on a throttle body change out. I've heard it can actually be of less benefit to get one too large. It's not always "bigger is better" is it?

I ended bein tuned by Dave (whitelightening)... he actually came to me, he wanted to tweak a small issue i was having, had him take a look at some datalogging and he made me a tune that gave me my pb's at the track...

A bigger tb will enhance whatever other mods you have like catback etc. Since I cammed and did heads, full exhaust, cai, it only made sense to get a ported tb.

I heard of Bully Dog first and just decided to stick with them. However, after receiving some errors trying to download I am having second thoughts. It may just be a simple fix, but I need my HP fix

hopefully you have it installed by now but if not keep trying. It took me a couple of tries to get mine to take. I downloaded the update than took it to the truck to install than was getting truck not supported so re updated it with the sd card in the tuner its self than uploaded the update and finally it took.
