Default Hypertech speedometer calibrator

Hey guys Sorry for the new thread again but I recently installed my hypertech speedometer calibrator on my 2011 dodge ram 1500 sport hemi.

6" bds lift with 37x12.5x20 nitto trail grapps

I installed it using the size 36.75 because the nitto website states that it is not a true 37 but in fact a 36.77 true measurement .

Did others with this unit go with the the actual specs or the tire size?

Reason I ask is because my gps unit reds that I am still going 4-5mpgs less then my speedometer reads.

Do you guys think the garmens are exact?

Or is my hypertech unit incorrect?

Thanks

Sometimes Garmin can be off a little bit, but it shouldn't be off that much, i think the most i have ever seen my gps be off was 1-2 MPH's, the best way to check would be to find a radar on the side of the street and go buy it and compare what you speedometer and the radar says, try it on 2 or 3 different radars and make 2 or 3 passes at different speeds to get an average of how far off your speedometer/gps are.

Not the fastest way to do it, but this is how i do it lol and it is pretty accurate.

Hope this helps

Jeremiah
