Thanks ericlee. That's what I was thinking...2600 should get me a little more umph off the line while still allowing me to tow without any issue...hoping someone on the forum has a 2600 on a 4x4 that can give me direct feedback on how it performs. Appreciate the info...

Will the trinity and custom tune void your warranty?

It shouldn't. Your warranty cannot be voided just because they want to. Besides, they wont know unless you tell them. Just make sure you go back to stock whenever you go to the dealer.

As was shared; as long as you put the stock tune back on the truck AND completely remove the tuner from the truck (laugh but my buddy left his in his cumming and later had a fight with the dealer about a floated head) you should be fine as the Trinity leaves no footprint and they would not know it was ever loaded.

As far as cost goes...Autoanything is a sponsor/vendor on the site and has thrown down some deals for members. One of the reps has replied on this post (pg1 i believe). The tuner will run you between $500-$600 depending on the deal. Hemifever has them on his website and will throw in his custom tuning when you buy direct from him which cost me $125 extra.

As a side note...i am not sure if the computer learns in these trucks BUT the beast seems to be getting meaner! Better response than when first loaded, better torque, and she is just plan mean. Last night had 35 miles in HEAVY rain...threw her in 4WD (avoids hydroplanning and floating) and ran by all the yuppies at 65+ while they were running around with their flashers on at 35. Happy, happy, happy!

Personally no. There are a few write ups on the forum. From what I read and from what Bullydog shared (called them directly) there are no custom tunes. The canned tunes from diablo didn't give me what i was looking for (have for others) so i went with hemifever on a custom. additionally i am looking to add a supercharger in the future and the T1000 is the only tuner right now that can handle custom tuning. So for me it was a no brainer...see what you can find on the BD. My buddy had one on his 7.3L Diesel and swore by it. I dont have any insights to gas on a BD.

PS...not worried at all about "jacking threads". The forum is here for discussion, learning, and sharing...ask away :-)

though well known in the Diesel world, Bullydog came in late to the hemi's so are considered inexperienced in comparing to Superchips or Diablo... I have yet to see any of the fast Rams at the track who use Bullydog in the hemi.
