When I bought my 2010 in 2011 the satellite radio was still activated. It stayed activated for a while(months past the 1 year point) then I guess they finally caught up and turned it off.
I just renewed for 6 months for the $31 and have mixed feelings. I really don't think it's worth the money as there are only about 3 or 4 channels I listen to, and most of the time the music isn't good so I go back to FM. Also, the sound quality of the satellite radio is horrible. I doubt I'll renew again at the end of the 6 months but we'll see. I really want it because I drive so much, but if there's nothing I want to listen to then there's not much point in having it.
Resurecting an old thread here. I just bought my 2010 laramie from a dealership four days a,go and the Sirius radio is working. Looking at the carfax this vehicle has been in inventory for a couple of months. anyone know why the Sat radio might be working?
I got a marketing call from Sirius last week asking how i was enjoying my 3 month free trial (it was left as a message on my machine). So now I''m wondering how the hell they got my name and number? Does anyone know if the dealerships have some sort of deal with them where they report new sales? Not a fan of having my info distrubuted without permission.
