I know, when I first signed up here, I had a 2011 Hemi Ram. But I dont have that truck anymore and now I have an 03 4.7 ram

Did you figure it out yet? I would just buy the 4x4 lower control arm. I bet its the same. To save money factory's try to design all the same parts.

thats kinda my thought. Im gonna find out what the part store return policy is, so i it is different I can return it. Gotta wait till pay day before I can drop 300ish on parts

those were mainly upper arms. O rileys has them (supposidly only for 4wd) for 150 a side. I am goingto order then tomororw because if they dont fit I am oly out 12 bucks in shipping

According to the shop manual I have they are a different shape to allow for the front drive shaft and they mount differently. If i could work out how to attach a picture from a pdf you would see the difference.
If you look at the you tube clip in my previous post you will see how to change the ball joints, all you need to do is remove the hub and press them out.

It would appear that you can rent the tool to do the job from Autozone, if the work is too much I would take it to another shop as the original one is giving you BS.
