Default cat delete 02 simulator

hey everyone, new to the mopar scene here and having issues with my exhaust. ive got a 01 ram 2500 5.9 v8. Just got a flowmaster super 44 single in dual out muffler 3"in 2,1/2" out. it sounds weak, comparable to stock. im going to eliminate the cat but was wondering what to do about the CEL thats going to come on. Ive been to thefastguy.com and was wondering if anyones used his simm for the post cat 02 sensor and how it worked. Also if theres any other simmulators out there people have used. If anyones got any insight feel free to chime in. Thanks!

Exactly what problems are you having? From my experience (gm background) the rear o2 sensor only does one thing, and that is to monitor the condition of the catalytic converter. So, if you don't care a bout the light showing up and ignoring it as you don't have any other side effects, you should be fine. If you can't stand the little light like me and most other people, you may be able to trick the computer yourself. With gm vehicles, you can you two spark plug non foulers (basically a spark plug spacer) and put them in between the exhaust and the o2 and it will usually keep the light from coming on just by putting the sensor out of the exhaust stream. You may have to drill the center of one spacer out a little to get the o2 sensor to fit inside it. Thread sizing is guess and check. That being said, why do you want to remove the cats? You really should run them...especially if it's a street vehicle. I removed cats on 2 previous vehicles, and found on a dyno that they were only holding back 2hp at peak power on one of the vehicles....really doesn't hurt anything...I will always have cats on going forward, you can buy cheap aftermarket cats pretty reasonably priced...

its not i have a problem with it its that it has no sound with the flowmaster and duals. its comparable to stock, and i mise well take the cat off to get the sound because a highflow cat is still going to throw a CEL. also the post O2 sensor will put the computer in safe mode if it detects a faulty cat. the light needs to be off for inspection thats about it, doesnt bother me any haha. 95 and down chevy onle have pre cat 02 sensors ive had 5 and decided with a mopar this time and the sound alot better without the cats then with them but thats just my oppinion, can you explain more about the fouler trick?
