Default 4th gen dash removal

How do you remove the trim around the radio and AC on a 2012 Laramine. Wanting to add a row of rocker switches for aux lights at the bottom of the panel, but don't have a clue how to remove it.
Thanks

In the top pull the rubber bit out, under there are 2 hex bolts then the rest of it is just clipped in. Be careful its a little hard in there the first couple of times. If you pull evenly on both sides its really easy

Like emorrism said 2 t20 torx under the top rubber pad and one t20 behind the 120v outlet cover. The outlet cover pops right off. You will also need to remove your center console top. Remove the black rubber in the forward most pocket, there are 2 #2 Phillips screws. The chrome trim around the shifter will pop right up. Their are three tabs along the back, two tabs on the sides and front. I use plastic panel removal tools when removing this part as they are pretty brittle. After the trim is removed open the center console lower lid pop up the rear of the base and work your way forward. You will need t remove the lower before you remove the bezel.

Not my thread, but I was interested in the question - but that is 2 very different explanations -

The second explanation is just more in-depth and takes into account removal of the center console if your truck has one.
