Haha! People function just fine. All you need is a sweater, goose down jacket, face mask, beanie, gloves, wool socks, nice shoes/boots, and a good pair of legs to briskly go everywhere!

The coldest temps down this way have only been around -24, thats including the wind chill.

-20 to -40 + wind is pretty common for the winter season up here in northern alberta it sucks ass to work in but those oilfield pay days r all worthit in the end

Tru dat! Got stuck working 3 weeks in Zama 2 years ago at -46C and -54C with the wind chill. F'in retarded. Wasn't nearly as bad as the 2 weeks I spent in Norman Wells though.

Coldest I've ever seen was well into the minus 40s in Labrador with windchill making it feel like -67 C. It sucked!
