Quick question. You said the transmition overheated. I was not aware of any temperature indicators on the trannys.

the RE models have trans temp sensors, if the transmission is overheating then the OD Off light comes on automatically locking out overdrive, this is usually the indication of an overheating transmission. However, it is also common to notice the engine coolant temperature to increase quite a bit if you don't have an external cooler especially.
