I have to say with the 87 is has better acceleration but.my main thing is I am getting 2mpg better without the mds and the truck is a lot smoother to drive without it coming on and off.constantly
I just have one question:

Most everybody claims an increase in fuel economy, are those numbers based on the dash readout or actually calculated?

I never had a tuner on a gas truck. I did have tuners on my two diesel Rams and the MPG gauge was always very optimistic withe the tuner, however, I never gained any real mpg's. I ahd SC, Banks, and Smarty at different times.

The way I see it, if you have more power AND use it you'll pay the price by losing mpg's. Simple physics!

With my t1000 I do notice gains in MPG during normal driving which is most of the time for me, i run the performance tune and I get roughly 1-3 more MPG and that is hand calculated, however if i get into it a bit and play around i get about the same as I did before the tuner maybe 1-2mpg less but nothing major. Hope this helps.

Thanks
Jeremiah
