Default changed heater core and now has rough idle!

i have a 03 RAM 1500 4.7l
I just replaced the heater core, put everything back together and its idling low (500 RPM) and rough. when you give it gas it sounds rough and sounds kinda like an exhaust leak. everything was working/ running fine before. Is there something i forgot to connect that might be causing this?

On my Mustang GT 4.6L V8 I pull the battery all the time while I do major work on it just to be safe and sure. When I plug the battery back in, the car will run rough for the first 2-3 minutes because you have RESET the computer / brain. The car must now run for a few minutes with rough idle while it relearns its air to fuel ratios and other junk. Once the computer figures out sand sorts out the proper air to fuel ratios the RPM's settle down and the car goes back to normal. You will also notice that your Milage on the TRIP computer is reset to 0 miles on the trip because you have unplugged the battery. Not sure if this is the same on our dodge trucks because I am somewhat of a new dodge truck owner but I would let it idle rough for a few minutes and see if it sorts itself out. I would also check all the fuses and double and tripple check all your connections you made. keep in mind pulling fuses and looking is always free.
