Newbie here. I have a 14 Laramie w the stock polished 20" wheels.
I have a line on getting new rims/tires for a great price and have a question @ sizing.
I'd like to get a smaller wheel (18") with more sidewall that would be same height as the stock 20"s. The smaller wheels/taller rubber would be better for limited off road use. I have air suspension so I won't be leveling or lifting.
The stock 20s are about 32" high. Question: would a 33 fit w no rubbing? Would an 18 x 70 height tire be the same height as the stock 20s? How do I determine what would work?
Also for rims.. What's the stock offset? I see a 18x9 aftermarket rim - I'd not want them to stick out beyond the truck if possible. How does one determine proper offset?
Of course rubber is another question but I'll search other threads for that.
Thanks much in advance for any answers
