Just saw on Amazon that there was a magnaflow system for 900+ that fits the 14-15 6.4 hemi in the ram. Also flow master has a muffler but that's it so far.

I have the Magnaflow 19200 kit on my 2500 6.4, also ARH catted headers. Here is a clip of the truck with a couple quick first gear accelerations. Will get a better one soon.

Ended up going with true duals dumped in front of the rear axle. Flowmaster original 40 series with 2.5 inch pipe. Sounds perfect as I like trucks loud.

Just got my 50 series hd installed. pretty happy with the sound of it. little bit of rumble but not enough to be annoying.

Guy @ the exhaust shop I use has basically the same truck I have & used Magnaflow muffler w/3" tailpipes, sounds great & doesn't get a lot of drone @ lower speeds like the flowmaster gets, & sounds real good I think.

Just joined the forum after purchasing a 2016 2500 4X4 and reading about exhaust changes. Looks like Flowmaster and Magnaflow are the primary muffler changes, but am wondering if anyone has gone the old school Cherry Bomb glasspack route?

I love old school glasspacks, unfortunately we are in the minority on here! lol

The owner of the muffler shop I use is very knowledgeable and it was him that informed me that a magnaflow is "a glorified glasspack".

I had one of thesehttps://www.magnaflow.com/automotive...oval/products/ on my 5.7L don't remember the model and the only drone I had was 4th or 5th gear at 35-45mph. At highway speeds my tires seemed significantly louder! lol

From there you get into the mandrel vs non-mandrel built discussion.

I think for the price of a glass pack I'll give that a try when the weather warms up.

Has anyone done this or think it will work. Remove the factory muffler, step the 3.5 inch pipe down to a 3 inch ( since no shops in my area can bend 3.5 ) add a super 10 Flowmaster 3 in 3 out and run 3 inch the rest of the way out with a nice tip on the end. Would this work or would it decrease performance and mess with back pressure ?
