I think I want to join this thread, mostly to see who else has shaved their trucks and see pics of them. The thought of shaving mine has crossed the planning table a time or two.
Any time. The only reason I didn't shave the door handles was - sometimes it gets so cold before I go to work in the morning I have to pull the handle to open the truck. And I'm not sure them poppers would work with frozen doors lol.
Honest Question… What is the difference between "Shaved" and "Frenched" Back when I was a kid we called them Frenched tailgates or Frenched door handles.
I am prob' wrong but frenched to me is molding the part so its smooth and flushed to the the contour of the body, while shaving is removing the accessory all together.
^^ That's my understanding as well. When you had chrome trim rings around a headlight, when you 'Frenched' the light you removed the trim ring and molded the body panel smooth around it.
I bought Street Scene Tailgate Handle Relocator kit. As for radio they have internal antenna's that will take care of that. Not sure how well they work as I don't listen to the radio.
TheSatinPumpkin, knows more on the poppers for the doors.
