Looking to buy some molded front floor mats, can anyone reccamend a brand? I had weathertech in mind until I saw most of the ratings were poor for them. Gonna kill me to drive this truck in the winter.
I have had Weathertech mats on three different vehicles and will not use anything else. Slightly higher price but perfect fit and finish in my opinion. Got 'em in my new Ram and will always have them in every vehicle my wife and I drive. Just my $0.02 worth.
+1 on the Husky Liners... You wouldn't be disappointed. I have the 2 piece front and single piece rear for my crew cab. Fit great, no slippage, and no spillover. I fish/hunt a lot when the weather is right, and I've never had any issues with muddy boots, etc...
these moulded floor mats were on my xmas list aswell so i started lookin around at different brands and such there was 2 reasons why i didnt like the weathertech ones 1. ther are way over priced and 2. i found that they didnt have very deep groves or anything in them so i ended up going with the rugged ridge i think they were called
It is a single piece that covers the entire rear floor. Because it fits so well, it takes a little doing to access the storage but it is not difficult by any means. If you have to access those compartments daily or on a fairly regular basis, you might do better with a two-piece mat. Otherwise, it should work fine.
I went to purchase mopar mats for mine just yesterday and the parts guy told me to go buy weathertech ones. He said they were a better fit with more coverage. I think they look great and am amazed at how nice they fit. The coverage and slope towards the door sill is a really nice touch
I have the Mopar Slush front and rear for my truck and they fit great! My wife has the WeatherTech Rubber mats in her truck as they did not make rubber mats for hers. The only problem with hers and the WeatherTech rubber ones are the rear ones don't cover the entire back floor only the foot wells. I've had slush mats in all my vehicles. Really saves the carpeting and original carpet mats greatly.
I was in the same boat as all of you. I was looking for some mats for my new 2011 Crew. I compared several, and tried to carefully shop for the best price/performance combo... Then one day I was checking amazon.com and found a set of Husky mats that were "Open Box" from the amazon Wholesale website. Got the whole set for $54 shipped. Couldn't pass that up.
I bought a set of the Ram slush mats on ebay. Got them for around 100 bucks shipped for the 2 front and over the hump rear. Fit well. I'm happy so far.
I have the Husky Liners for my front and passenger side. Other than being a bit stiff, they fit very well, and seem to be a well made product. Didn't bother with buying the back seat set, as I rarely have anyone sitting back there.
Weather tech is the best I,ve seen. I have them in the front and rear and they fit like a glove. A couple friends have them as well and they love them too.
