the only thing that happens with fabric covers, is that when it rains the water pools between the braces
i just have a soft cover & when it rains i have 2 choices, either sweep the water off or drive it & let it slosh out. The people at the car wash soak it up, before drying off the whole truck
I should take some kind of big sponge on a stick with me when i go there
My truck came with a Trifecta on it. Its either on all the way or folded all the way up. Kind of a pain lining up both sides if you take it off, but if that doesn't bother you its a neat system.
I have the Extang and I love it. I don't have the pooling problem what so ever as it is tight and the water just runs off. As for lining it up once you have taken it off that is true however it takes about 30 seconds to line up, so not really an issue either.
Having said all that if you are willing to spend a bit more money I would go with the Backflip as well.
