His mine working in the snow with a heavy hydraulic dump trailer in tow. By the time I was done that dump trailer had crap stacked in it as high as the lumber rack on my truck.
Well i actually can't see it at all! Unless I'm going around a corner. I'm looking into a camera system. My trailer is pre wired for it. I'm also looking into a braking system for the reg cab to make everything a little safer. Pulls great though and gets 10mpg. I've probably got around 6k on this setup.
My '14 towing our '08 Caravelle 217. On summer weekends we do 180 mile round trips to smaller lakes "near" us , then a couple times each summer a week long 500 mile round trip to larger lakes that are farther away. This truck is an amazing tow vehicle.. 20-21mpg to/from work, and 15-17mpg towing 5,500lbs.
Sadly the the only two pictures I took of this trip, pulled the 2nd gen 468 miles and the hemi got about the same mileage as the 360 in the 97 would have
My wife's friend needed help moving, so I agreed to help and tow a uhaul trailer if she paid for it. Not a big one, but we cubed it out for the 120 mile round trip. Put a good amount of stuff in the bed too:
