All right I just went out and measued the front end and it is 36 5/8 and back is 39 1/2. So will the 2.8 work when they put on the Bilstein 5100 Shocks or will that be to tall in the front and have to go to 2.1 height.

The Bilstein 5100s have set heights. You dont get to choose how high they go up to. I got 2.5" out of my set, they do say between 2-2.5" for the top setting. They say the height will vary per truck, dont know why but it happens haha

I have these on a 2010 crew. I went with the 1.4 inch setting in order to provide a little rake for towing and hauling, but I wanted to bring the front up a bit since the factory rake is excessive IMO. The difference was very noticeable, but I could have went the 2.1" setting and been pretty level. My opinion would be that the 2.8" may be fine, but to be safe, as long as a very slight rake does not bother you, I would go 2.1". I know there are posts on here that have pics.

Here's my post a while back: http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=62534

Here is a good post to look at (helped me make my decision, but shows that 2.1" looks great): http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?p=295138#post295138

I put mine on the highest setting on my 2010 CC and it is level. The ride is the same, the look is totally different...much better!
