I thought it would be interesting to know what others paid for their trucks, maybe share some "buyer's tricks" on how you got that smoking deal, and possibly arm some perspective buyers with some knowledge before entering that jungle known as "The Dealership".
Let's try to be specific as to MSRP, any dealer discounts, rebates, and final sales price EXCLUDING any tax, license, or doc fees as they vary widely.
I got my deal by searching the internet and found the truck about 5 hours away from me. The internet is a great shopping tool! For a nearly identical truck my local dealer wanted $4,000 more.
Also I didn't pay the $179 for the "Nitro Fill" tires that was on "all" their vehicles and I was pretty hard nosed so they didn't even hit me up to pay for the "Paint Protectant" that had already been applied. Told them I wasn't paying for anything that wasn't clearly marked on the window sticker .. that ended that.

1000 best purchase i think ive ever made. ive put about another 1000 into maintaining it and fixing a couple things but im happy as hell. about to get a parts truck too
$46,765 - MSRP
$10,000 - Rebates and incentives
$7,300 - Equity in my 2006 SLT trade-in (I wanted $2K more, they were offering $2K less, we met in the middle).
Did one of your brothers purchase the truck and then transfered the title/registration to you?
I ask because the Chrysler Group Employee Advantage does not offer "employee discounts" to immediate family members of employees.... just employees themselves. That's the impression I was under....
Also, and I stand to be corrected here, I was told Chrysler offers an Employee Price based on the vehicle as opposed to a flat percentage [1% over invoice] as just about all other manufacturers do. Correct?
2012 Quad Cab Sport Sticker was 46,645. dealer price with friends and family pricing was 41,645 minus incentives and my trade in I was out the door for 30,000.
I got a hell of a deal on my 2012 2-door hemi. Dealer had managers special that day for 18,995. To have a hemi at that price. I jumped on it and in the last 4 months have put about $6,000 into it in mods. Check out my You Tube video and let me know what you all think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ThK7XTUE5M
Also most of you say you have 3.92 gears as did my 2010 however my 2012 has 3.55 and drive me crazy with the lack of off-the-line power. I have an appointment to get 4.10's installed next month. Hope that goes well

I paid $19,500(something like $21,000 out the door) for my 2010 quad cab 4.7L SLT it was 9 months old. 100,000 mile power train warranty. I was pretty happy with the deal and really happy to get a warranty with a used vehicle. Oh and it's half way paid off
