I like my new 2013 Laramie Longhorn Crew Cab a lot with only a couple reservations. I miss the flat floor space in the back seat area that my F150 had and the new RAM doesn't ride as nicely as my F150 did. Other than that it's been a great truck so far. I love all of the gadgets.
If i ever need to tow anything i would consider upgrading but at the moment my truck is my toy, it doesnt have toys to haul so it fits its purpose fine.
Had to have a V-10 3500 to tow the the old clunker race car. Bought the truck new in 97 and still have it. Race car went to pay college bills for the boy.
I like them all. I have a 85 short wide, 86 short wide, 96 SW, 97 ext cab short, 99 quad 2500 diesel, 01 3500 V10 flat bed, 06 Mega cab diesel, 06 crew cab diesel, 78 440 Ramcharger, 93 Ramcharger. All around though I love my Mega Cab
I wanted a 2500 for the added weight (safety thing), full seating w/ 6'4" bed (I couldn't compromise on seating or bed size as 5'7" is a joke). I also get a Hemi b/c it does the job & the Cummins costs a fortune in maintenance.
Throwing a Carli dominator kit on it makes it feel so much beefier. :smiley_thumbs_up:
For what I do the 1500 fits the bill nicely. I think if I should ever need anything more it might be the 1500 4x4 with a bigger engine but for now I couldn't be Happier. Enjoy the Journey! Lou.
Love my '11 1500 sport.... but do I ever lust after a big 3500 cummins.... one day when the pocket book can afford it.... or when I have a real reason to get one LOL.
'14 1500 Regular cab which is miles up up from my Nissan Frontier extended cab ..-) I don't do any hauling and just the average home depot runs. When I grow up I'd love to buy a Laramie crew cab, Hemi v8 with dual exhaust .. oh man.. love the sound of that rumble .. lol
