srt 10 22 inch wheels 3054022 or 3054522?

im about to get a set of the srt10 22 inch gunmetal wheels but i dont know which size to get the taller 3054522 or the wider 3054022 so if anyone out there has these wheels what size did you run and did the scrub or what

just bought my truck today im selling my stock 20s to a guy at my work and i orderd the 22 inch srt10 gunmetal wheels for mine but what tires should i get i dont want them to scrub so should i get the taller 3054522 or the sexy wide 3054022 id like to get them but will they scrub with the srt10 wheels or are the offset to not it any help would be awesome thanks

Well for starters, both those tire are the same width...305mm that is what the first number means!
The last number...22...means the diameter of the wheel
these two numbers are simple

It's the middle number that confuses people, the 40 means the sidewall is 40% of the width, 305, and that is how tall your sidwall is, on the 305/45 the sidewall is 45% of the width, so the only difference between the two tires is the overall diameter! which will be about 1.2"

When it comes to lowering though i can't help as to which size will work, not my expertise haha

I have 305-45-22 on my SRT rims. The stock 10s came with the 305-40-22. More selection with the 40. So really your choice. You may need a set of 1/4" spacers for the front rims. Have read that some guys had issues with them rubbing on the upper control arm. But think that was only on the 06 and up. No issues with my 05 but it is pretty close.
