You can get it in any of the HD models, just not in the 1500s.

Thanks, that's what I thought/ I did some research before I bought and would have loved to have the 6.4L. But only if it made the HP that's in the SRT.

Nope the truck 392 is tuned for longevity under load and a broad torque curve, it is not the Apache used in the SRTs. It also does have MDS in the HDs, which the 5.7 does not.

When I look at the numbers I'm not impressed. 7/10th of a liter more than the 5.7 and that's it. There's a video on TFL-Ike Gauntlet showing the 6.4 against a GM 6.0. 6.0 has less power/torque and eats the 6.4 when pulling the hill with the same trailer. The 6.4 was crawling at the top, literally.

Has anyone seen a dyno chart from ram on the 6.4 compared to the 5.7? If so where can it be found?

Thats because the retards at Ram STILL dont know how to make a transmission that works with the engine instead of against it lol.
The 6L80/6L90s in the GM have always had a better ratio spread for getting power to the ground. Plus you can run the bag off a 6.0 vortec all day long without missing a beat. Just telling it like it is.

It was so bad they thought there was somthing wrong with the truck and contacted Ram. Then they tried it again with the same result. The sad part is it wasnt at max capacity.

Maybe they ordered the 4.10s, but got 3.21s by mistake

I do think that Ram can (and will eventually) get more out of those extra 7 tenths of a liter.
