I have a 97 Dodge ram 1500. I have a 5 in skyjaker lift 35 in tires on 15x10 wheels. I have a hypertech programer long tube headers air raid cold air intake and true dual exhaust with flowmaster super 40 mufflers. Is it worth going to a 4.56 gear. Im open to any suggestions out there on this supject or any more engine mods for more power.

Stock gearing can be one of several different ratios. You most likely have the 3.55's or 3.92's. If you have the 3.55 gears, I'd go with a 4.10 for a 35" tire, especially if you ever do any highway driving. If you have the 3.92's and it isn't enough, then consider the 4.56 gear set.

Alright cool I have 3.55 gear ratio. When I go to work I cruz around 60-65 mph. My only issue is I call 4wheel parts and they tell me 4.56. I watch an xtrme 4x4 on spike they did a ratio swap on a 97 1500 to a 4.10 gear and gained 3mpg so im kinda stumped on this cuz I get a diff answer everytime

Yea go wth a 4.10 gear that would be the better way to go. You will have more then enough gear to turn the 35s. I have 3.92s on my 07 with 35" tires and they work great together, so the 4.10s would be even better
