Default 2008 6.7cummins. cant get serpentine belt on

ok, I have put on hundreds of belts over the years,,, but I cannot get this belt on. it seems I still lack a few inches to get it around last pulley. I bought one from autozone, and in hopes that it was packaged wrong or something, I went to dodge dealership and bought the mopar belt. However it still comes up a few inches short. yes, I have the tension pulley out as far as it will go. what am I missing? how do I get this belt on?????? mayday mayday
