Ok so I need to replace the entire ground cable from the Neg. Terminal to the engine ground and the chassis ground. I cant tell what size it is and I can find it on the internet any where. If anyone can save me the trouble and post the hyperlink where to buy them or let me know what size cable goes to the engine and which one goes to the chassis. I figured common stores like pep boys, napa, advanced ect would have them but they vary so much I dont know which ones to get. Thanks for the help.

My truck is 2003 1500 Qcab 4.7 V8 SLT

My truck is losing power and stalls at idle and sometime wont start unless I wiggle the cable. Needs to be replaced asap.

when you mention having to wiggle the battery cable
do you mean the connector end where the battery is?
or somewhere along the wire?

you may not need to replace the whole cable, unless there is no slack in the cable.
you could just take the connector off the battery, clean up the battery post,
cut the battery connector off of the cable, strip back the insulation a bit & attach a new end, if the cable is corroded, spray the end a bit with water, sprinkle on some baking soda, let it bubble the corrosion off, rinse it with more water

the cable ends come in 2 sizes, a larger hole for the positive post, smaller hole for the negative post
