Does every year of truck, have different size of lock nuts? It can't be every truck, can it? The reason I'm asking is, my tire shop has one to fit my old 08, but it doen't fit my 10. Thanks for the help. Good luck Doug
I do have one. When I go to the tire shop, do they have to use mine, or can they order one for my truck, and all the other dodges, that they work on. Hope I make since. Good luck Doug
You make sense. I had to have a tire replaced at the dealer back in Sep. They needed my key. So in my mind the answer to your question is no, the shop cannot use one key for all.
Forgot to mention, you have the chrome clad wheels on your truck make sure the tire shop has the special adapter to use for mounting or balancing. If they don't they'll ruin the wheels plus never get them balanced correctly.
You should always keep you wheel lock in your truck in an easy place to find like a glove box. That way if you take it in and forget to give it to them they can find it. Every key is different so you have to have your handy.
