I have been involved in drag racing for many years in the UK
We were lucky enough to win the FIA top fuel dragtser championship in 2003 with my friend Smax Smith driving - who now races in Canada
We now race a nitro funny car .
Thought some of you may be interested - but the Ram will only be used to tow down to the start line
None of us are professionals and have full time jobs but love the sport - more so that engines are based loosely on a hemi
We are supposed to have up to 8000 hp and use 15 gallons on 90/10 nitro /methanol in a 5 second run.
We still race over 1/4 mile except in Sweden where shut down area is too short.
I work on clutch and is a world away from real job so love it all
