Engine and supercharger are installed, now I'm just waiting on Josh @ HHP to get my tune finished so I can start it up. He sent an initial tune but I think it was a little thin on the fuel because I made a mistake and stated stage 2 injectors instead of the stage 1s that I have installed.
Duratracs are awesome. I've got the Canadian Tire version of them, the Territorys. Put them on a set of 18" dakota wheels and studding them to be ready for winter. Making sure nothing will stop me this winter since last year the factory rubber turned out to be a scary ride in the winter. No one likes unintentional 4wd drifting lol.
Yea and I'm thinking it's best to buy second year run of them. I want to see what issues pop up with them before I go for it. But it would be much nicer for towing my horse trailer than my gas 1500. The Hemi can handle it, it just costs and arm and a leg in gas when it needs to tow. But for the 4 or 5 times a year it needs to tow it wasn't worth springing for a 2500 deisel.
That would be APM, so expensive but such a sick hood. I'm shocked that we're into year 5 of this body style and still have such a short selection of aftermarket hoods. I like the look of the APM but I can't put $2000 into a hood. The Rksport hood is pretty neat though. Would be nice to have something not seen on the streets.
As I said... there are only 2 companies making hoods for the 4th gens... that thing is an abomination. If you had that coupled with a really bad body kit and a huge spoiler then I could completely see the point
Hey I haven't posted in here since I got my truck a couple of years ago. Thought I would post some photos on how she's coming along. Put on the spyder headlights last year and blacked out the tails and windows. Was running the plasti dip on stock rims for a couple months but just picked up some new shoes with winter rubber on them and waiting for that first snow fall. Knowing calgary that could be anytime haha.
Looks good! I love those wheels. I wanted something like that for my mud/winter tires. But I went with Dakota rims instead (funds always hold me back).
Well the throttle body spacer only lasted a day and that's out now. Sounded like squeaky breaks and after doing some research I found out they don't do shit. Going to see if I can take it back to mopac tomorrow.
Here's a photo of it all done now and a bit cleaner then last time.
Black panther you will have to stop by one of these days, you drive by my house everyday, I usually give the courtesy wave. I'm the guy with the 35ft fifthwheel on my ram in Elgin hahahaha or the silver challenger in the driveway
If anyone in Calgary needs rims. I'm selling my stock chrome clad 20" wheels. They are curb and damage free, not a single scratch on them. They are plasti dipped in black but can be peeled off to expose the chrome.
I'm asking $600 for them with new lug nuts. Pm me if interested
