Talking 12 second crew cab

Made it out to Sealy this last Saturday chasing a new personal best. Did way better than I imagined! For those that dont know about DA and its effects, believe me and what it says. Ran a 12.79@ 104 mph and Im still not full bolt on. DA was -1300 to -1800.

Density altitude is the altitude at which the density of the International Standard Atmosphere is the same as the density of the air being evaluated. The lower the DA, the better your car will perform, you’ll have quicker ET’s and higher trap speeds. If you’ve ever wondered why cars run so much stronger at Englishtown vs Las Vegas Motor Speedway, DA is the answer. Tracks located near sea level with low temperatures, low humidity and high barometric pressure will make your car run like a champ, while tracks in the mountains with higher temperatures, high humidity and lower barometric pressure will make you think something is wrong with your car. Between the high and low DA extremes some cars can experience a 40+ horsepower gain or loss.

Default DA

Was some where between -1318 and -1100 at the time of the pass. I took a screen shot of it with my phone when we arrived but DA had changed.

Default Time slip and I can post more to back it up.

Here is the first pass of the day in the best DA. I think next pass was a 12.86 and they went up from there. Worse one was a 12.98 and I missed a shift on it.
