Hi all, I have an 04 1500 & I'm looking for some advise on how to change the back 3 spark plugs that are located next to the brake booster near the firewall. The engine is a HEMI. I managed to correctly remove & install new plugs on the rest of the engine but ran out of daylight before I could get to the last 3 & would appreciate any information on these last 3 before I tackle it today. Thank you for your wisdom in this matter. Paul G.
had the same problem - those last plugs took as much time as the rest of the engine - just took some extra elbow grease. if you don't have one, recommend an extendable magnet in case you drop a socket in the last well.
I wish ya luck . It's gonna take a little bit of work , but with several different length of extensions you'll get it done . A magnet is a good idea . I've also used a piece of 3/8 inch rubber hose to hold the plug until I get it started then just pull the hose off . A old plug wire boot would work well also , but their not deep enough .
