^^^ Pretty much agree i wouldn't go above 3" on the pipes, 2 1/2" would be optimum to cut down on weight and still get enough flow. If i had the money i would get it all titanium/ceramic coated. With custom coated 1 7/8" titanium ARH's for longtubes and add an X-pipe running to some type of muffler/mufflers with pipes dumped over the axle. I like speedfreak's setup its pretty much spot on besides the coated headers and the titanium nonsense, not sure if he has them coated. His is dumped after the axle and his tips at the bumper are "ghost tips" kinda just there for show. But i think if i had the money i would run a twin turbo setup haha i guess i can keep dreamin...
Long tube headers goin into two magnaflow hi flow cats then two qtp electric cutouts then id put a magnaflow xpipe leading into the dual 14 inch magnaflow mufflers going out the back to 3 or 4 inch black tips, 2 1/2 piping everywhere else
ARH headers, no cats, Dynomax VT single in/dual out with the stock bumper exit tips.....throw in a raceland e-cutout right after the Y with a short pipe to exit by the rear wheel!
I'd love to have a true dual set-up with some long tube headers (not paticular on brand), into 2 e-cutouts, then 2 magnaflow hi-flo cats, then into 2 borla mufflers and run the tips out the side before the rear tires.
Mine would be Ceramic coated headers inside and out, ceramic coated secondarys, and Custom Polished SS muffler from Billy Boat exhaust.
So thats what I did.
No drone which i really needed due to hauling a trailer 5 days a week.
Just a nice sounding performance exhaust.
I would go with the Dynatech headers which include their high flow cats. Then I would stick with the Gibson exhaust but I would do a true dual kit. The fake dual doesnt do it for me haha. I went with a single outlet to look like stock on my truck now....I did it to hide the exhaust kit I bought hahahaha. I didnt want anyone to know....the noise it made after was pretty obvious haha
i have been lookin at the dynatech headers going into a true dual magnaflow setup, the high flow cats that come one it, dont they lead into a y pipe ?? basically not allowing for a true dual system?
Not sure which way I'm gonna go yet. More than likely one of these three setups. Has to be all stainless and agressive sounding. Will be adding a Diablo trinity at the same time. Already have a Vararam.
