Default 83 D150 - Slant 6 - Parking brake question.

For the life of me I can't find the bracket that goes from the front cable to the adjusting rod...(See picture to see how the previous owner fixed it).

Problem with the current "fix" is the rear cable pops out randomly when engaging the parking brake. (was going to put a bolt in the hole but I'd rather fix it correctly, if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't see a way of fixing it any other way than red-necking it. You've checked on line at sites like JCWhitney and LMCTruck?

Yup, with no result. Bolt in the bracket it is....It'll add character

Now on the the next big issue a rusted, fragile about to break dipstick. Found this out when I dropped the pan last night to clean it up and change out the gasket. its always something I tell you. 36 inch dipsticks are hard to find too. Maybe I'll just replace the whole dipstick assembly.
Thanks!

Copy that. Good luck with the dip stick.
