finally got the gaskets (Fel Pro) to reassemble my engine the other day. What is recommended for sealing the bottom side of the intake? Or just install it dry?. I plan on using a little thread lock compound on the bolts, No sense having one back out and end up skating around on top of the cam!
Thanks!

These pan gaskets often leak, but it is not the gaskets fault, the problem is the bolts. On my 360, the bellypan bolts had a quarter inch long unthreaded end. The bolt bottomed out before getting the gasket tight. No wonder it leaked. I cut the unthreaded tip off the bolts, and used them. For a gasket sealant I like 3bond ( known as Yamabond to motorbike mechanics), it holds the gasket in place, and any excess is easily removed with solvent. The gasket should seal without sealant if you are getting enough torque on it, so check your bolts or use new ones.
