Hey everyone! It has been a long long time since I been on here. Been super busy with the band and my new day job.
I have 8-12V (DC) @ .07A 40mm fans that I want to hook up to an inclosure that I want have some air flow (4 intake and 4 exhaust on opposite sides of the enclosure).
What DC adapter voltage and amperage would I need? Is it 12V (DC) @ .64A? (.07 times 8)? I want to soldier the fans together (4 in a row) ultimately resolving to 2 wires (red/black) and then combine the 2 4 row together and then splice that with a AC/DC transformer that I have laying around (I have a couple hundred in a box with different voltages and amperage.) -- what can I say, I hoard them for special projects like this.
I want to be able to hook these up in the inclosure ( no switch needed) and forget about them.
Thoughts? See the attached illustration
Thanks in advance.
