I have a 2014 R/T and I was racing yesterday on the highway and my truck just got to 106 and just stayed there. Does any one else have a different cutoff speed??
If you don't have a tuner thats about where it will stop. It's somewhere between 100-110. With a tuner you can change that and set it at whatever you like.
106 mph is the exact speed limit on a stock tuned truck. As stated above it can be changed by tuning however you don't want to exceed what your tires are rated for.
Good info. I was wondering. Seems like if it were not limited it would do at least 125 or so. But, as someone said, tires might be a limiting factor too.
hey guys i buried the speedo on my rt all the way to 120, and i dont know if it has a tuner or not cus i just bought this truck used, its a 2012... how do i know if its tuned or not?
yeah sure but it have to be like on one of the week days, im not innthe area for the weekend.... are u the guy that works at aldos in food for less cus ive seen an rt there too?
My dealer tells me that Chrysler will not allow them to be set any higher than 106 because the S rated tires are only suppose to be good for 112. I ask if I was to swap tires for Z rated if he would be able to change it and still he said no. He also said any aftermarket tuner would void my warranty.

You are absolutely right. But the new Diablo does not leave any fingerprint. If you need to take your truck to the dealership for some reason, just reload the stock tune and leave your tuner at the house. When you get the truck back home, reload the tune and off you go.
