So yesterday i went to the dealer and traded in my 2013 Ram Black Express for a 2014 Ram R/T. Man I'm glad i bought the R/T. The truck is so much nicer inside and out. I really love that 8 speed. Heres a pic of her at the dealer after she got a wash.
Nice! That's the best looking truck out there today. I never get tired of just sitting and admiring the styling after a wash & wax. The Mrs. will see me and just roll her eyes!
Just got my BT 964SP installed yesterday andthe truck is a whole new animal now. It makes the truck do what it is supposed to do. Absolutely love it. I have owned and modded all sorts of cars and trucks and this is the best Mod I have ever put on a vehicle. I did install the Spohn adjustable bar and the shorter front end links
I always knew R/T stood for RED TRUCK! LOL, looks great! There's a guy that lives by me with a white one and I always slow down to take a good look when I'm passing his house. He probably thinks I'm casing the joint or something lol.
That is one nice truck you have there. I had a single cab short bed Chevy as my first truck, really liked it, but now having a bigger cab, don't know if I could go back. But man, that is a slick looking truck. Congrats!
Figured Id just ask in here since I see a few members. Can you check/ does your R/T make a whining/whirling sound while going in reverse. Doesn't have to be fast . Even reversing down a driveway or parking spot. Mine is and I don't remember that when I bought it.
For all you guy's that have lowered your trucks. When getting the wheel alignment redone did you just have it set back up to the factory spec for the truck or did you try something more sporty like the Challenger specification?
I went back to factory specs, or close to them. What made the biggest difference after lowering was changing out the front sway bar end links for the shorter F-150 links. Take a look in the "Lowering" section of this forum, you'll find a wealth of knowledge shared by members. So much knowledge your wallet will scream:smileup:
