They sit too high from the factory.
Because it's her truck and she can do what she wants with it. Why did I lower my 4wd?

The most you could lift it is 4" with a 2wd front spindle kit either from MaxTrax or CST. Luckily you don't have to worry about CV angle issues. Another option is the Kore Tactical 4x2 kit which will also get you a 4" lift but would require the fenders

To each their own, I'm a stock height guy. There are guys who race diesels too, which I don't get, but if that's your thing then I don't have a problem with it as long as you aren't getting beat by Powerjokes and Isuzus (Duramax). I could see lowering a 4x4 if you want launch traction or you like the stance and have 4x4 for driving on squirrelly winter roads. I could also see someone wanting to lift a 2wd if they drive on dirt roads a lot and need extra clearance for ruts and stuff but don't really need 4wd. Back home there's only a couple of inches of topsoil before you get down to caliche rock, so even an open diff would be hard pressed to get stuck in wet conditions off road.

Let's be honest though, a lot of people lift and put fat M/Ts on their trucks to look cool not because they need it. A guy I work with has a 6" lift on his 2011 F-150 and only has 35" tires. He doesn't need that much lift, but he likes the stance; and he doesn't even off road but he has Toyo M/Ts.

OP like Kurtis said you won't have to deal with CV issues but you will still want to watch for ball joint issues. I know Kore makes replacement UCAs designed for trucks with 2"-4" of lift that have rebuildable ball joints, but they cost a pretty penny and IDK if they are only for 4x4s or not. Unfortunately there aren't too many options for 2wds compared to 4wds.
