Default Does the Diablo T 1000 leave a foot print in computer??

Ok Ram community I need to know if the Diablo T 1000 leaves a foot print in the computer?? My Ram only has 15K and I don't want to void my warranty. In addition does the Diablo T 1000 work on my 2013 Ram? I'm getting some conflicting info. Any help or advice would be great.

If you reinstall the original program they won't be able to tell. My truck showed an error code so I installed the ordinal backup and brought to the dealership to scan for codes and they never said anything about a programmer. So I'm huessing they couldn't tell lol

Hammerhead, that is a good question, I would like to know that as well. I've been holding off and was worried about leaving a footprint. Hope someone on here can answer that.

They look at the flash count, if you have a lot higher flash count then what they show has been done at the dealership they may take note incase you return at a later date with a warranty issue.

The ECU is usually an EEPROM (Erasable Electronically Programmable Read Only Memory) Flashing the ECU involves erasing the program and replacing it with a new version. The ECU maintains a count of each version (or Flash). If you go to the dealership with an engine failure or transmission failure and they check the ECU and it has a flash count of say 20 and they've only have records of say 5 flashes to the ECU, they may ask you to explain the other 15 counts.

I had a 2010 Ram and now a 2013 Ram. I had/have the Trinity installed on both. I generally would only use it to "flash" the computor once or twice a year so no big deal as far as the dealership goes. I did have an issue with my 2010 where I got locked out of the computor and couldn't restore to factory so went to the dealer and they worked on the computor for 1.5 hours before the issue was resolved. All under warranty and they said nothing about the Trinity.

im pretty sure if (at the time of installing the tuner) you raised the rev limitor and/or the speed limitor the dealership can tell the truck has been tuned since it will show RPMs and Speeds that are above and beyond the capabilities the stock tune would allow.
