I was going to wait until I washed the truck, the snow melted, and it got above 35 degrees, but WTH :4-dontknow:
Laying on your back on the frozen concrete isn't too bad until you roll on the melting snow puddle, Brrrrrrr
Here's the rivnut tool that came with the nerf bars
And the rivnut mounted on the rivnut tool
I did identify the six holes for the rivnuts to go
And that's how it looks with the rivnut and tool in the hole
Hold the wrench on the bushing and tighten the bolt (always lubricate after every rivnut)
And that's how the rivnut looks after its compressed
Important to remember keep all mounting bolts loose until all 6 (on one side) have been threaded. (I also put anti-seize on the bolt threads)
Finished look on a filthy truck
