How Many of you use your Ram as a daily driver?

Just curious. For me, I bought my Ram as a replacement for my daily driver because I needed the extra interior room for an expanding family, and wanted the option to carry whatever I need from Home Depot all while having 4WD capability in the winter. Seems like a good combo to me.

My co-workers think I'm nuts in terms of the fuel expense (I get around 15-16 on a combined city/highway loop which I think is excellent, and not too far away from how my 300M behaved), but I found when comparing SUVs and trucks that most of the SUVs I looked at got fairly crappy mileage and had less interior room.

Just wanted to see if I'm in the minority here or the majority (and yes, I'm bored at work today).

Work truck and daily driver unless I am going to a farther lot to work and their is a setup for me to use then the cobalt as mainly because gas is expensive and it gets 29mpg even at 80 and 90 with very little boost. In the cool weather I like taking my trams am out whenever possible since taking the tops off makes it fun and usually can find a race or 2 on the commute

Daily driver here too. Though when I feel rammy I take it out to the lake with the boat and/or desert with the kid. He loves the trips and honestly my wife is happier that we didn't get the minivan instead. Also I would like to add that minivans get around the same mileage too which I wouldn't have thought it to work but it did.

Lastly I would say with a programmer (even my low-functional bullydog GT) and giant intake I am now around 24-27mpg (once in a while 30+) freeway and 15-20mpg city depending on traffic.

Daily driver/work truck. The company I work for gives me a monthly truck allowance and fuel card and in turn I use it to make service calls and go to jobsites to set up equipment. I only wish I had a beater truck to drive to and from the shop so I could keep overspray from getting all over it.

This was not supposed to be the deal when I got it. that's how I convinced the wife we need a truck. I have a 95 Acura Integra that I'm SUPPOSED to be driving the 84 miles RT, but it just doesn't ride like the Ram. I drive the Acura once a week, and I have to psyche my self up to do that.

Mine is my daily driver. I traded in an 09 Hyundai Accent and sold my very heavily modified 08 Hyundai Tiburon and bought the Ram. Gas is a bit of an issue going from a 30MPG+ daily driver to a 13-16MPG daily driver. Also, when I put a Supercharger on the Ram, it'll be harder to keep my foot off the skinny pedal lol.

I'm planning on picking up a new bike to daily drive unless the weather is inclimate. Maybe a used R1 or something along those lines.

Definitely my daily driver!! I traded in my 2011 Subaru WRX for my 2012 QC sport. I'm an outdoors man! I love hunting, fishing and all of the out door sports. Plus I have a young yellow lab pup. The WRX was AWESOME, but I just needed more room, ground clearance and just the overall practicality of owning a truck. At first I somewhat regretted getting rid of the WRX, but now I' am very satisfied with my new RAM. I've owned nothing but fast cars and bikes since I have had my license, so I figured it was time to move on and get in something more comfortable and chill if I may say to drive haha. Another upside to owning my truck is I don't have the urge to drive it like I drove my WRX. AWD turbo was just too tempting. It was just a matter of time until I got another ticket :( Maybe next summer I will buy another bike to have fun on. :)

I dont' have a daily commute to work but I do take it out of the garage ANY chance/excuse I get! It was bought mainly to haul the toys and for vacationing but duty also calls when my husband's mazda can't get through the snow...I let him drive it to work ;}

So I guess when the beast is not working, he's a spoiled garage king.

Just 'cause it's a daily driver doesn't mean it's any less cool...or deserving of moddin'! Got plenty of other toys too...if the weather's that nice the bikes are coming out and the truck's gonna sit for a bit...

I drive my Ram every day, except when California Gas prices are as high as they are right now
Today i filled my tank, the large size, three 6 gallon gas jugs, plus my 30 gallon auxiliary tank, i paid out $300 for mid grade gas, 82 gallons worth in Yuma Arizona
In California a gallon of gas is 50 cents higher per gallon, then Arizona prices
Tomorrow i have to drive back over to Yuma Arizona, 160 miles & i will top off again, then i will Escort a Oversize load to Camp Pendleton Marine Base

Yes my Ram is my daily driver, it is also my extra money maker, so that i can take a vacation for a month or more, when i choose.
Every year i drive across the USA & visit the Toronto Canada area
82,000 & runs like dream, although i now need new shocks

Good thing you are not in Canada right now. Here on the west coast, gas is at $1.38/L ($6.28/gallon.)
That 82 gallon purchase up here would of emptied your pocketbook to the tune of around $550.00...

Came from a 03 Sonoma ZR2 with torsion bars cranked and rear shackles. The Ram with the 3.75" RC combo rides just as smooth as stock + No more squeezing people in the back with 2 doors.

Daily driven to work and back a whole 3 miles away.
