Hi there Guys...just new in RAm...glad to know there are lots of Calgary members...i hope i can join you on some gatherings someday...i just live in the NE...
Welcome! Always glad to see a new local member, and I'm hoping to get something together my next days off mid-may-ish. Hope to see ya around here and at any meet & greets. If you know any other ram owners, let them know about us
Welcome Striker. Glad to have another Calgarian on board.Enjoy the site, post some pic's & don't hesitate to ask any questions.Lot's of friendly & savvy people here."enjoy"
hey all, im in edmonton but from calgary...had to move for work...still flames fan so i hope i meet the requiremnts
alot of you seem to be going with the diablo sport over the super chip any specific reasons why?
I should really just start an Alberta thread to encompase everyone... even if you are a flames fan... Canucks fan here Glad to have ya
I went with the predator just 'cuz I'm planning on going deeper into my block. The pred is the standard for custom tuning for things like heads, cam, etc. If you just was a CAI, exhaust, and tuner, then the superchip is more than enough and even gives you better transmission control.
For the record there, CANADIAN.....my (paternal) grandparents are/were from France, migrated to Canada and my dad is a Canadian!!! So if we do the math......that would make me FIFTY percent Canadian! You wear a cowboy hat, my dad wears a cowboy hat.....Wait...let me post a pic, I think I see some similarities!

*PS....my mug is ugly because I was with family and didn't really care what I looked like that day and I was chewing gum!!!!*
Hey. Just another Calgarian poppin' in to say hi. Gonna have to meet up with y'all soon. I'll keep an eye out on this and the Alberta thread. Just be warned, if Kelly (my fiance) gets too close, she'll start humping all the trucks!
Well, THAT'S a way to come in on here glad to have ya, and I'm hoping to get something organized for mid may, I just have to find out when I'm off work.
I'm from Calgary; anyone ever do the Secret Street thing at Race City? I'd like to know what my RAM can do.....give the diablo and the K&N a chance to prove their worth....
A couple of the guys at our meet head out that way every so often. I'd be up for a meet at the track if I'm in town so I can get some baselines for my truck before I begin the engine mods. You can show up after 6pm, and races start at 730pm. You must wear a helmet, and you can borrow one for $5 and it's $25 for vehicle/driver.
Hey guys just had a quick question. I am in the SE of Calgary and wondering which dealer you would recommend to take my Ram to get it's regular maintenace done? I bought the truck in Airdrie, but don't want to drive it out there all the time for Oil changes, etc.... The only advice I've had so far is to stay far away from Courtesy. Your guys input would be appreciated, thanks.
Tower Chrysler would be my vote as well, they're the best for servicing modded trucks and they've done well with others I know. The next best would be Big4, but they can be a little touchy depending on which writer you deal with, but for the most part they're good. Airdrie Chrysler is the best dealership in the Calgary area for customer service (just my experience) but I agree that it's a long way to go just for an oil change.
And stay FAR away from Courtesy, they'll sell you the truck and then turn their back on you. You have to fight to get anything done unless you want to pay for it yourself, and even then you need to check your truck to make sure it was all done, and/or done correctly.
Hell guys, I'm new here with a 09 1500 SLT Quad and from Banff. Just wondering where the best place in Calgary for aftermarket mods, particularly exhaust packages. I heard that Unlimited Performance& Exhaust is good? I'm looking to upgrade. thanks
